I've discovered the fun creating quick pen and ink sketches with watercolor washes. In this portfolio, I've included sketches of a historic neighborhood, "Margaret Place" in Lake Charles and sketches from a trip to Tuscany, Italy.
"Images of Margaret Place," is a special arts project of the Calcasieu Historical Preservation Society in Lake Charles, LA and the Margaret Place Historic District. I was commissioned to create artwork depicting the historic area to promote the 37th Annual Palm Sunday Tour of Homes and the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of Margaret Place.
